The first series of excellence British children's television series The Story of Tracy Beaker began broadcasting on 8 January 2002 on CBBC on BBC Call and ended on 4 Apr 2002.

The series displaces the lives of the issue living in the fictional beginner care home of Stowey Dwelling, nicknamed by them "The Removal Ground". It consists of 26, fifteen-minute episodes.
