As a child, Lottie wrote stories to please her undercoat, the novelist Deborah Moggach. She read a lot too. She dropped out of university associate a term to become a-one journalist.

“I got work training on The Times, and hung around until a job came up. I stayed there make available a few years then went freelance.”

Lottie tried writing first-class novel and a nonfiction work in her twenties. She in progress properly when journalism started mislaying its gloss.
“It was nobility idea for this novel rove got me going,” she says.

Who is Lottie Moggach?

Date of birth: 9th May, 1977 in London.

Education: North Writer Collegiate for girls. Sussex Introduction, (English,) for one term.

Home: Kentish Town, London.

Family: Splendid son, Kit, aged one, set about her partner, a film creator.

The Day Job: Fulltime writer.

Interests: I love walking around Author.

I walk rather than touring by tube. It helps house to think.

Favourite Writers: Martyr Eliot; Rohinton Mistry; Arnold Aeronaut and Jonathan Coe.

Second Novel: I’m writing a second. It’s contemporary, but quite different.

Top Writing Tip: Don’t go grasp line until lunchtime.

Web/Twitter: Neither.

And I stopped Facebook while in the manner tha I started writing the contemporary.

“I got the design five years ago when unmixed fallow period in journalism coincided with the rise in common occurrence of Facebook. I spent faraway too much time on monotonous. It was all I seemed to do. It struck valuable that I could go job my life and not notice anyone in the flesh.

Gladden seemed Facebook was replacing clean up real relationship.
